Pousada Araçás Village

It's a cozy spot surrounded by trees, but some things need attention. In my room the bathroom drain was clogged, so taking a shower meant standing in a puddle of water. The pool needs cleaning and maintenance too, its edges were dirty. Breakfast was very basic, with few items, and everything was cold. The eggs, sausage, and aipim were left on the buffet without any warming. There was only one juice option and no yogurt.

The best part for us was the care from Dona Maria. She was so kind and kept checking that we were doing well. My wife and I loved staying here. The inn is peaceful and shady, with lots of trees and a huge pool. The beach and river are close enough to walk to, and there’s parking inside the property. There’s also a nearby market and a little central square that’s great for going out at night for açaí or ice cream. Seriously, it’s a wonderful place. You won’t regret it.

The gardens make a real difference in the heat of Imbassaí, with trees, plants, and flowers all around. There are two inviting pools, private parking, and a simple breakfast that feels thoughtfully prepared. Agnelo, Matias, Maria, and Alec were wonderful, and the service was perfect. This is a special pousada, and I’ll keep coming back.

The breakfast was the one thing that kept the stay from feeling complete. Less fried food and more typical breakfast options would help. The rest was really pleasant: a cozy green area, two well-placed pools, and a decent room. New pillows might make sleeping more comfortable, though the sheets were good quality. The service was a ten, you can tell the staff like making guests feel welcome. Still an excellent pousada.
