Hostel Moreira

Hmm.

Such a lovely place if you're looking for somewhere simple, peaceful, and away from the city for a few days. It doesn't offer much in the way of luxury, but that isn't what I'd expect from the countryside in Brazil. Inside, it's really cute, and the staff and owners do everything they can to make you feel at ease in their home. My mother and I were each given a mini panettone as a gift, which was so kind. Breakfast was delicious too, from the coffee to the pão de queijo. We loved our stay and recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Brumadinho! Five stars 🌠

Fernanda, her husband, and Isabella are lovely people who make you feel right at home. The breakfast is wonderful, the accommodations are great, and the price is amazing. They’re always up for a good chat and have places to recommend. There are also three cats and a dog living there, all sweethearts. I already want to come back every month!

The typical Minas Gerais house was cozy, clean, and had a lovely smell. I felt really welcomed. Breakfast was one of the best, and Fernanda was kind from my first phone call right through to saying goodbye.
