It's easy to get around on foot from here, with shopping, restaurants, and places to go at night nearby. Fort beach is also really close, and it's beautiful. The rooms stayed very clean the whole time, and the staff were so nice and polite that I felt at home. I can't imagine a better place to stay in cabo frio.

I stayed at Cambucá in Cabo Frio over the holidays, from December 23 to January 2. The posada is near the most beautiful beach I've ever seen, but far enough from the Main Street noise. The area felt safe, and the local businesses made you feel welcome. The hotel was very clean, and everyone was incredibly friendly, from the kitchen and front desk to the room staff. Zezé in the kitchen was especially helpful and kind, even with my terrible português. The best part, though, was Beth, the owner of cambucá. She came in every day to chat with guests, offer advice, and make everyone feel like family. I highly recommend staying here.
