Pousada Recanto Devas

We spent a week here, and it still wasn't enough time to see the whole region. We left as friends after arriving as guests, and we'll definitely return. It was excellent value for money. Soraia and Átila were so welcoming and attentive that we felt at home and completely at ease. Soraia also offers relaxing massages, and Átila can take you climbing if that's something you enjoy. The inn is a good base for exploring the lake region, between Búzios and Arraial do Cabo, close to downtown Cabo Frio. You can walk to praia do Pero.

It did the trick for us. The place is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with warm, helpful service, and you don't need a car to get to the beach.

We were welcomed very warmly by the owners, and the inn has plenty of relaxing spaces, including a lovely view of the canal behind it. It's a really peaceful place for anyone looking for quiet. There's a massage service for an additional fee, and it's also suitable for yoga and meditation. The rooms are clean and airy, the beds are comfortable, and the sheets and towels were clean. Best of all, the rooms had no musty smell, which you often get in small inns.

I traveled with two teenagers and really liked the place. It's simple, but very pretty with the woods so close by. The owners are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. There's a hammock on the inn's veranda.
