The location is excellent, right across from the beach. It feels very cozy, and the caretakers are polite.

The house was very clean, but I’d have preferred air conditioning in the bedrooms instead of fans. Parking is tight around the concrete columns, so it’s easy to scratch the car if you aren’t careful. There was a lot of rubbish on the beach, and I walked for an hour before finding an ATM. The little market has one, but it charges an arm and a leg, and everything there is very expensive. The worst part for me was the owner of house 10. She was rude, nasty, and dismissive with customers. She acts like she’s important just because she owns this dump. I won’t be back.

Very comfortable, and right in front of Cabo Frio’s cleanest beach.

It’s a great place to rent a room and spend a few days at the beach. Just don’t be surprised if you see some cockroaches wandering inside and outside the rooms. They seem to be typical for the area.

You’re close to Cabo Frio’s two prettiest beaches, with Praia do Peró right across the way and Praia das Conchas next door. Definitely worth a visit.
