Really great!

I went in expecting the hotel to be starting over, and it does seem like it may be under new management and trying to improve. The buildings and facilities are old, and some resources are still limited. Even so, the staff were the best part for me: smiling, polite, and welcoming from start to finish. The room was clean, and I liked how neatly arranged the fresh towels and bedding were. The hotel looks quite old, though I like the blue paint they're beginning to add to some walls. The shower stopped heating on our last day, so I had to take a cold shower. Please check that. The simple meeting room worked for the event I attended, but one broken window let two swallows fly in. They brightened the event, but the window needs fixing. The grounds are nicely wooded, the waterfall area is pleasant, and I loved the pool area. I hope the hotel keeps improving. The food really needs work, especially supervision during preparation. I always pay attention to food when I visit somewhere new, and I didn't enjoy what was served. The meat was much too rare, the bread stale and hard, fruit tasted of garlic, rice was undercooked, fries were cold and limp, the bean tutu tasted burnt, and some salads looked dark and unappealing. The desserts were the only thing that partly made up for it. I wish the hotel success, and may God bless everyone there!

The setting among nature is lovely. There were leaves on the ground, of course, but that only made the place feel nicer. The shared areas were well maintained and had a comfortable, elegant feel, and breakfast had a good range of fresh, tasty choices. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, so we slept well. The welcome was warm, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout. My stay was excellent from beginning to end. I'd gladly recommend the hotel and return on another trip. Congratulations to the team and management.
