We spent a week at Casinhas da Julieta and loved our stay. The location was great, 80 metres from the main square and close to the port, with really good restaurants nearby. The place was clean, the kitchen fully equipped, and there was air conditioning. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the amazing island.

Victoria was responsive and looked after us well. She explained how to get there from Salvador and shared plenty of tips and things to do in Morro. The apartment was very tidy and had everything, including a full kitchen and fridge. I especially appreciated the bathroom’s hot water at a proper temperature. It’s very quiet, tucked into a closed alley, and only 250 meters from the docks where you arrive in Morro, a big plus. Keep in mind the access stairs: there are 86 steps to the apartment entrance. If stairs are a problem, book somewhere else and save yourself the effort. If you can manage them like I can and want a restful stay, this is a wonderful place to book.

It’s a beautiful house and a good choice if you like preparing your own meals. Getting there is quite difficult because of the stairs.
