Pousada Aldeia

The hosts were even better than the fantastic atmosphere, and breakfast was amazing. Honestly, this is one of the most awesome places I’ve ever stayed.

The location is hard to beat, right beside the main square and close to everything important in Boipeba. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. I’ve stayed at several inns here, and I’d say this is the best. The rooms are really comfortable and have air conditioning, which is essential for a good night’s sleep, since many places don’t have it. Breakfast was incredible, with a different dish each morning made from local ingredients by the same woman, who clearly knows her way around a kitchen. I’ll definitely return.

The location is good, and the room was okay with a comfortable bed. But the owner seemed unprepared and was arrogant with both staff and guests. When my brother-in-law asked for two more eggs at breakfast, she said the limit was two per guest and that extras cost more. The previous day, none of the four of us had eaten breakfast at the pousada, and my fiancé hadn’t eaten breakfast there at all during the stay. Breakfast was sparse, with very few options.
