Pousada Bahia Bella

The staff were helpful, and the price was fair. It’s a great inn in a very convenient location, with a nice, simple breakfast.

The breakfast and the service were the real highlights at Bahia Bella. The food was delicious, carefully prepared, and there was plenty of care in it. Receptionists Grace and Larissa were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. They made a real difference throughout my stay. The pousada is cozy, well cared for, and in a great location. I’m leaving Bahia Bella with lovely memories and already want to come back. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, good food, and welcoming service that makes you feel special. Congratulations to the whole team!

The reception team made everything easier, from sharing tips about Morro to arranging excursions and catamaran tickets. I’d nearly booked with an agency, but the girls offered to handle it after I reserved the pousada. The prices seemed to be the same as elsewhere, so it was convenient. They booked the round-trip catamaran and the island tour, which I really recommend for the full island experience, and told me how to get to Gamboa and its clay beach, also well worth visiting. Since the pousada is well located, guides picked us up right there. The girls’ friendliness deserves a mention too, they made the whole experience easier. I stayed from 09/Feb/26 to 13/Feb/26, and the experience was excellent. I’d rate every criterion 1000, it exceeded my expectations, and I strongly recommend the pousada. The location is hard to beat: on 2nd beach, less than two minutes from the pousada to the sand. I’d originally wanted to stay on 3rd beach because people say it’s quieter, but I’m glad I chose the 2nd. It balances peace with restaurant options, has a pleasant evening atmosphere with stalls and a lit waterfront for walks, and it’s quicker to reach the lovely town center at night. 3rd beach is beautiful too, but its waterfront felt less appealing and more rustic, with less infrastructure, no lit walkway, fewer options, and a longer trip to the center. For me this pousada is in the best spot in Morro and the best part of 2nd beach. I’d researched other places before booking, and seeing them there confirmed I’d picked the best one. The room and bathroom are spacious, the bed is roomy and comfortable for a couple, and there’s a TV, minibar, locker, and balcony. There’s also a pool in the common area, though people didn’t seem to use it much with such a beautiful beach right in front. The pousada’s facilities get a 10 from me. Breakfast was delicious, with cakes, bread, cold cuts, fruit, and eggs, plus something different made fresh each day by the women, like tapioca, a toasted sandwich, or plantain. The reception staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to make guests’ stay on the pousada and island a good one, including giving Morro tips. I really enjoyed Morro, the island’s vibe and beautiful beaches. Tour prices seemed fixed, it wasn’t crowded, and I didn’t find it expensive. Prices were like São Paulo, if not lower, and restaurant portions were generous. People weren’t trying to rip you off. I’m thinking about coming back, and I’d book Pousada Bahia Bella again without hesitation.

The breakfast was beautifully laid out and excellent. I especially loved the tapioca with coconut and condensed milk, plus the banana with sugar and cinnamon. The reception team were fantastic too, always attentive and ready with information and tips for tours. Mabele, Greysse (sorry if I got your name wrong), and especially Larissa. My wife had some lovely conversations with Larissa, who gave us great suggestions for restaurants, pizza places, and more. Choosing Pousada Bahia Bella was one of my best decisions. It’s easy to get to, near the beach and close to everything. The rooms are spacious, clean, and smell nice. My wife and I had unforgettable days at the pousada and in moro de são Paulo. I recommend it.
