I felt right at home here. It’s a bit away from the center, which makes it really peaceful, and it’s near a very leafy area and the spot where you catch the tractors to other beaches. You can hear the birds and wind. Ricardo is very friendly, and the woman who serves breakfast is such a nice person, always happy to chat and talk about the town. Breakfast is plentiful, and there’s air conditioning too. I recommend it.
I went looking for the most affordable option and found Luar do Serrão. It exceeded my expectations. The service and setup show that good things don’t have to cost a lot, and affordable doesn’t mean poorly done. The rooms are clean and cute, with a little balcony, a patio where you can put a hammock, and a lounge by the entrance with a TV. There’s good Wi-Fi and a large kitchen open to guests. Best of all, nature is all around: you can see the forest and hear the crickets. It’s a lovely experience. Now I’m looking forward to trying breakfast with local fruit tomorrow. I’ll write more then, haha.
The pousada feels new and like it’s here to stay. It’s well located, about a 10-minute walk from the center, which adds to the peace and privacy. The rooms are very clean and have air conditioning and Wi-Fi. I highly recommend it.
