Vila do Morro Pousada

The place is still being built, but it’s already a great hotel, with a good location for reaching the interesting spots. The room is great, everything is new, and the bed is comfortable. Staff really try to make you feel at home. Breakfast is great and changes every day, though you can ask for something you’d like. I’d come back and recommend it at this price. The two snags were weak Wi-Fi, even in the room closest to the router, and finding the hotel the first time, since the street you need is narrow.

We stayed here with our family and enjoyed it so much we added another day. The location is excellent, close to the village center and beaches. Though the pousada is small, it has everything you need for a good stay: it’s very clean, with a spacious, comfortable room, a large bed, and a really good shower. Everyone on staff was attentive, polite, and provided impeccable service. Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. We’ll definitely be back.

The place is clean, the room comfortable, the breakfast simple but tasty, and the location is good. But I really missed feeling welcomed and cared for. Check-in started badly, with a million rules about what you can’t do, as if my husband and I were children. The warnings about paying if you stain towels or sheets, plus signs in every room listing more restrictions, made me uncomfortable. We were even afraid to dry ourselves in case we dirtied a towel. I’ve never encountered so much fussiness in any stay, even outside Brazil. There’s no accessibility, and breakfast is on the top floor, so don’t stay here if stairs are difficult for you. I let the rules go because I didn’t want to spoil the trip, but they could have been more flexible.
