The owner made us feel at home, and the staff were so pleasant. Our room was very clean and breakfast was great. We’ve just left Barra Grande after a stay we really enjoyed, and the pousada was a big part of what made it special. We’ll definitely return 😍

The owners were incredibly kind and told me all about the area, with great advice. I had a lovely time paddling with them through the mangrove. The place is quiet and clean, with everything I needed: a bar, breakfast, and Wi-Fi. It’s in a great location, 50m from the beach and kite point, while the main bars and restaurants are only a 5-10 minute walk away. I really enjoyed staying here. It felt just like home, and I highly recommend it.

For kitesurfing, Barra Grande is still a hidden gem, and after visiting spots around the world I’d put it in my top 3. Beach Club seems like the best bet in Barra: it’s a clean, modern pousada with lovely staff and an amazing location. People stay there for months.

There’s storage for kite gear and an air compressor, and the beach club sits in one of the beach’s best locations. The food and drinks are good and available there too. The DJ is a bit of a gamble, though, sometimes great, sometimes horrible.

Easy on the wallet, with a pool and really friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is wonderful, and there’s plenty of kite storage. You’re only a two-minute walk from the kite spot and beach. A relaxing place to stay in Barra Grande.
