The breakfast was the best I’ve had at any pousada, and the service was wonderfully attentive. Two rooms have a lovely view of the sea, and the best beach spot is only about 100 meters away.

For four nights, I found the price steep for what was offered. Even water costs extra, and breakfast wasn’t to my taste. I wouldn’t recommend it, as I think you can find somewhere better in Barra for less.

I loved staying at Pousada Lá em Casa in Barra Grande. The place has a beautiful look and a welcoming feel, and it’s quite close to the beach. My room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Breakfast had lots of choices, and I doubt I’ll find cuscuz with carne de sol as perfect as theirs again. The manager and staff were warm and attentive, and shared plenty of tips about nearby places to visit. One of the best stays I’ve had, and we’ll definitely come back! 💖

The location is good, and the staff were very attentive and helpful. I’d suggest booking an upper room if you can. In the ground-floor room, noise from the one above carried through the wooden floor at night and became bothersome.
