What made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was caring, warm, and professional, with the kind of heartfelt hospitality you rarely find even at 5-star resorts. Jade deserves a special mention for kindly letting us stay past checkout so we could have lunch before leaving. The inn, Pousada a Capela, is spotless, cozy, and full of character, and our bedroom was charming. Breakfast was amazing too. Across the road, the beach has beautiful natural pools formed by reefs, great for swimming at low tide or diving to see colorful fish and other sea life.

The grounds were clean and well cared for, and the food was delicious. But what really stood out was the service: from the moment we arrived, the whole staff treated us like family and went out of their way to look after us with a smile. I can’t say enough good things about the people and the place. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful!

The pool and cabana space are lovely, and there are beautiful dining areas on the grounds. A Capela sits right by the ocean, with gorgeous white sand just outside. It has a relaxed feel despite the luxury, and the staff were warm, friendly, and happy to help. The owner designed the place herself and was lovely to meet, with perfect English. Definitely a gem.
