It’s a shame the hotel has closed. The staff’s friendliness and attentiveness were its best qualities. I worked from inside the hotel and nothing got in my way. There was internet by both Wi-Fi and cable on the floors, and the breakfast was no different from other hotels, despite what I’d read. Since the rooms are flat style, I could eat whenever I wanted without making the room smell like food, and I could go out to the lounge and exercise. It wasn’t so close to downtown Campinas that noise and dirt became a problem, but it wasn’t so far away that getting there took too long. The value was excellent for people who want to work, families with children who need to manage their meals, or anyone looking for a genuinely economical option.

The staff were polite, attentive, and helpful, and the hotel itself is very good with reasonable prices. A few things could be better: breakfast could offer more variety, especially fruit, and the Wi-Fi sometimes fluctuated or dropped out. The shower’s water heating system also wastes a lot of water, in my view. It can take over five minutes for hot water to come through, so I imagine some of the savings from the heating system are lost on the water bill.

I’m still owed money by the hotel for two nights I didn’t use. When I checked out early, the administration and management gave me a paper confirming the amount due. Nearly a year later, I called and got nothing but promises, and my emails never get answered. The employee Marcos Felício says he’ll check with the finance people, but no actual action follows.
