Hotel Dan Inn Campinas Cambui By Nacional Inn

The lobby bar service was exceptional, and I liked the breakfast too. The place is historic, which also means it’s old. If you’re okay with a room, furnishings, appliances, and fixtures that feel like they’re from the 20th century, you’ll probably enjoy it. I wish I could have seen it back in the 1960s, 70s, or 80s, when it must have seemed marvelous.

We had a nice stay. The staff were welcoming and ready to help, and the rooms were comfortable and well kept, even though the electronics were a bit dated. Breakfast was delicious. The internet worked reliably most of the time, but didn’t reach every part of the building. We’d recommend it for a friendly, comfortable stay.

The breakfast had plenty of choice, and the staff there were so friendly they knew my kids by name after the first day. My three-year-old especially loved the jello, even though this wasn’t my favorite hotel breakfast. All the staff were courteous and helpful, and a quick call fixed my online booking mistake in five minutes. Some staff speak English, which can be useful around here. This was my second stay, but my first with family. The hotel is older, though the beds are very comfortable. I’m not keen on the minibar: it fills the mini fridge, leaving no room for our things, and it’s expensive. My three-year-old wanted everything in it, too. Overall, I was happy with the hotel.

There’s a hair dryer in the bathroom, and the shower has good water pressure. The room has a cheerful look, a desk, and a table for dinner. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are free, though room service is expensive. Breakfast has lots of options.
