Nomad - Norte Sul, Cambui

I booked the EXECUTIVE SUITE through Booking. The photos showed a bathroom with a shower enclosure and a medium-sized sink, but the room was small and the bathroom tiny. The bathroom door was a folding PVC door, there was no shower enclosure, just a squeegee. The sink was the smallest I've ever seen, impossible to use without getting wet, and the uncovered trash can was under it because there was no room beside the toilet. I've been traveling for work for five years and stay in lots of hotels. This was by far the worst, especially for the price. I paid 204 reais and had to push the water out of the bathroom and dry everything. It felt like a backyard annex. When I asked the receptionist about the shower enclosure, she just said this room didn't have one and they were planning to install one. No apology at all. They had contacted me to ask when I would arrive, so I expected them to mention the construction and condition of the room then. Guests should be told beforehand, or at least at reception, so they can choose. It felt like bad faith and misleading advertising. There's a restaurant at the hotel, and I felt somewhat pressured to order a meal, both at reception and in WhatsApp messages, which felt intrusive. There's no phone in the room. In the morning there was construction noise and staff speaking loudly beside the rooms. I got a WhatsApp message saying breakfast was already ending. The bed was good, and so were the pillows and towels. I didn't have breakfast. When I left, nobody was at reception. I left the key, then suddenly staff appeared beside my car asking about the tab and the key and waiting for me to get in. I've never seen a hotel like this or staff behave that way. I wouldn't return or recommend it. December 28, 2025: The hotel replied that they couldn't find my stay, so I'm attaching photos of the booking, the WhatsApp conversation, and Booking emails for them to review. I would never post a review just to harm a hotel. This is about what I saw and what happened. It's strange that they can see the bathroom photo and not recognize it. An apology would have been better.

The friendly, attentive service surprised me, and the place was organized with a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious too. I recommend staying here, and whenever I'm in Campinas I'll stay with them again.

I've been trying for more than six months to get a refund for a Booking reservation I canceled within the free-cancellation period. I've contacted them more than three times, and they always say the finance team has already requested it and that the refund will show up on my next card statement. I don't recommend them. Edit: There were two charges on my credit card, but only one was refunded. I'm still trying to get the second charge reversed.

I was welcomed so warmly and liked everything, from the cleanliness to breakfast. The staff were polite and the atmosphere felt inviting. I'll definitely come back.
