Pousada Happy Inn

Really great.

I stayed at the pousada in June 2025 for an event in town. Getting there was easy, and even though the route was quiet, we felt safe walking around the area late at night. The place itself was spacious, well equipped, clean, and very well organized, with spotless sheets and towels. Communication was easy, and they stayed available throughout our visit. I’d love to come back soon.

I paid through Booking with Pix, but the page refreshed without confirming my reservation. I called the pousada three times and got no answer. When I sent an audio message, they said they don’t listen to customer audios. I explained what happened and sent proof of payment, asking them to contact Booking with the payment code to check whether my paid reservation was still open and advise me what to do. Booking wouldn’t take my call because I didn’t have a reservation code. The person in charge at the pousada laughed at me and said I wasn’t his customer. Even after learning that I have low vision and communicate better by audio, he said he wouldn’t listen to my messages and did nothing to help find a solution, despite my having chosen to stay there and paid in trust that I’d receive respectful service. After an hour of emailing Booking, they confirmed the payment and said they’ll refund me. I’m grateful I never actually set foot in this pousada. They showed no respect for people who pay to stay there.

The owner welcomed us warmly and was kind and considerate. The place was clean, cared for, organized, and equipped with the essentials, which made for a comfortable stay.
