Altitude Lodge

The hotel is good, but avoid room 11. The floor is broken, and at night there's a high-pitched machine-like noise that gets in the way of sleep. The Wi-Fi signal also gets weak at night. On Saturday I couldn't use it at all.

We were there for three wonderful days, and there was a sweet waiting for us in the room when we arrived. The hotel is very clean and well organized, from the fresh-smelling sheets and towels to the tidy rooms. The staff were polite and helpful throughout. There's free parking, and the hotel is about 1 km from the center, an easy walk if you want to explore the area along the way. Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of fresh, tasty choices. You can ask for tapioca or scrambled eggs made to order, and the sweets were better than those at many of the city's cafés. The staff deserve credit for the care they put into the food, cleanliness, and service.

Breakfast was made with a lot of care, with a good range of choices, including tapioca, scrambled eggs, and toast with eggs and bacon cooked to order. We were also welcomed with delicious brigadeiros. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and it's close to the center. It was a pleasant stay for the price, and we'll definitely come back.

In the afternoon they serve tea and cookies, another thoughtful touch. We loved our stay! The family room had a queen bed and two single beds, all comfortable, and the space felt clean and welcoming. Breakfast was very good and carefully prepared. The attentive, helpful team welcomed us with sweets in the room, and when my husband had his birthday, they left him a lovely, delicious little cake. It's near the center of Capivari, though the walk involves a steep uphill climb. There's an oil heater in the room, but no air conditioning, which we didn't need.
