Pousada Cachyto de Cielo

The view is top-notch.

For R$ 300 a night, I expected more from both the comfort and breakfast. The breakfast was extremely basic, with few choices. The inn has potential because of the view and the service, but it needs major modernization to justify that price. My experience was mixed. The host was very polite, the room was spotless, and the shower was excellent. But the place feels dated in key ways: the infrastructure is old, including obsolete outlets, and the room layout hurts privacy. To see the scenery, you have to open your room onto the passageway.

The worst experience possible... Breakfast was so poor there was hardly anything, not even bread. The coffee was weak, almost as if extra grounds had been added.

The service was awful. I paid online, but when I arrived the room wasn’t to my liking, so we asked for a refund, which is a consumer right. The owner said he couldn’t refund it. We suggested another way to process it, but he got agitated and refused to return the money. Very poor manners and no respect for the customer. I don’t recommend it.
