Pousada Hortelã

We had a great stay, and breakfast was awesome!

The quiet setting and elevated location made the nights really pleasant, even though I stayed in February and it was hot during the day. There are good restaurants nearby if you’d rather not go all the way to Centro. The guesthouse has just a few rooms, which made the attentive service feel personal from booking through checkout. My room was comfortable and had wi-fi. Breakfast had plenty of variety, including cereal. Outside, the place has a mountain house feel, with the option to light a fire pit. It’s well worth it, and I plan to return.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh food and plenty to choose from for adults and kids, including homemade cakes, fruit, natural juices, and the smell of bread coming out of the oven. The dining area was pleasant, with a lovely mountain view. The rooms were comfortable, with fresh-smelling bed linens, and the decor was charming. The children loved the space and welcoming atmosphere. At Pousada Hortelã, we felt at home with our kids. The team were kind, always smiling, and ready to help. Harrison and Bruno were especially attentive. Everything was clean, cozy, and very well cared for. It’s close to the center of Campos, but on a quiet street, so it was easy to rest at night. We had a really special stay and recommend it wholeheartedly to families looking for peaceful, happy days in Campos do Jordão. We’ll definitely come back!
