The staff gave great service, but the room itself wasn’t worth what we paid, over R$ 400,00 per night. There were two adults, a baby, and a pet in our group. At first they gave us a tiny, lower-grade room than the one we’d paid for. When we complained and said we’d only stay one night and wanted our money back, they moved us to a different room, saying it would be a “TOP” one. It was the room shown in the photos. It had water damage, old furniture, a filthy bathtub, and curtains covered in dirty paint stains. There were only two outlets, so we had to choose whether to charge a phone or laptop or plug in the heater. We couldn’t light the barbecue because the bed was right beside it. Breakfast was extremely basic for the price, basically 10 kinds of bread, haha. We’ve been visiting campos do jordão for years and have stayed in hotels and pousadas, but we’ve never had conditions like this before. Cleanliness is essential, both for guests and for keeping the place in good shape. As I understand it, the owners have another pousada and other businesses, including Pousada Pinheiro Real. I hope they invest more in the business and make improvements for their customers, because they depend on us. Our stay was in ABRIL de 2026.

The staff were kind and attentive, and did what they could. That was the only positive part of our stay. We couldn’t remain there and left before our reservation ended. The pousada didn’t match the Booking photos, description, or high ratings at all. The room had visible mold, peeling walls, a strong damp smell, and very poor cleanliness. The bathroom was moldy too. My husband has rhinitis, so staying in the room was impossible. It felt extremely closed in, and the door/window opened right onto a corridor with people constantly passing, so we couldn’t leave it open for air. The bed was uncomfortable, with a very thin, hard mattress. There was no fan or air conditioning, which made the stuffiness worse. The bath towels were stained and in terrible condition, and the pousada’s facilities overall were very poor. Breakfast was just okay, with little variety and nothing like the high ratings we’d seen on the platform. To top it off, we’re heading back to São Paulo with a stiff neck, a cough, and constant sneezing.

What should’ve been a romantic night turned into a nightmare. On November 20, my girlfriend and I rented a chalet with a room that had a hot tub. She paid a lot for the room, mainly because of the tub. We left our things there and went into town. When we came back that night to shower, there was no hot water. They spent more than 3 hours going in and out of our room trying to fix it, but nothing got resolved. We couldn’t shower or use the hot tub. We complained and were told we’d get a refund, but after calling several times, nothing came through. At first it seemed like they’d sort it out, then they said they’d refund only 100.00, but we still haven’t received anything. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The breakfast was wonderful, and having it on the deck with that view of Campos do Jordão made it even better. Everyone treated us really well, from check-in through checkout. Such a lovely inn. I’d definitely recommend it.

The parking situation felt poor and unsafe. There are no gates, so cars are exposed to anyone passing on the street. The bedding was dirty, the TV didn’t work, and after I told reception, nothing was fixed. The room, a master suite, smelled of mold, including the bathroom and mirror. I have respiratory problems, so that was a real issue for me. The listing said there was a hair dryer in the room, but it had to be requested at reception. I arrived in the middle of the night and, since no one had told me, had to go to bed with wet hair. Breakfast was just so-so. There was even a bottle being used as a holder by the bathroom window. The place needs a lot of maintenance. With all the good reviews, I expected better, and the stay was disappointing. I’m leaving an honest review so someone else won’t be as frustrated as I was.
