Villa Capuzzo

Silvio and Tais made us feel so welcome, and the staff were lovely too, especially Elaine. We had a comfortable, peaceful stay, and the heated beds were a wonderful touch. We were even surprised with an upgrade when we arrived, which we loved. The inn has a distinctive, pleasant scent throughout. I was celebrating my birthday, and they surprised me with sparkling wine that day. There were cakes, tea, and coffee available around the clock, plus a complimentary espresso machine in the room, a great extra for coffee lovers. The cakes were wonderful!

The heated sheet saved me at night, since there’s no central heating and I was cold inside the inn. The breakfast was excellent and thoughtfully prepared, though it’s served outdoors. There is an indoor room, but I didn’t find it very inviting. Cakes and tea are available all day, but during my stay the cakes were the same each day, already a bit hard, and didn’t seem freshly made daily. My pet was very welcome, and the service was okay. I appreciated the complimentary room upgrade, but I’d chosen a suite with a fire pit option, so I would have preferred to keep the suite I booked. The wooden building has poor sound insulation, and the bathroom was cramped after it was adapted to make a suite. I’ve stayed at many inns and hotels in Campos, and for the price and what’s offered, I’d give it three stars.

Everything felt fair for the price, and we thought the value was a 10/10. The breakfast had delicious options and no fixed end time, which was great for sleeping in. Claudinha was lovely and cooks really well. We loved how cozy the inn was and how warmly Sílvio and Thais welcomed us. The bed was wonderful, with a thermal blanket, a soft comforter, and soft towels.

The breakfast was wonderful, especially the pancake and fruit salad, and coffee and tea are available all day. There’s also a fire pit in the evening. We’ve returned to Villa Capuzzo for a second stay and will definitely be back soon. Tais and Silvio are such welcoming hosts. The inn is lovely and smells great, and the room is a treat, from the decor to the cozy bedding and heated sheet. I highly recommend it.
