Pumma Budget Hotel

I stayed for 15 days, and the experience was satisfactory overall. Apart from one incident, the stay met my expectations. I'm leaving this as a suggestion for improving how events are managed at the hotel. On a Thursday, after a full day at work, I expected a quiet night. Instead, the hotel allowed a private event in a shared area right beside the rooms, and the excessive noise kept me from resting. It was just one night out of the 15, but this shouldn't happen, especially on a weekday and so close to guest rooms. The hotel should rethink how it uses shared spaces and set suitable times and locations for events so they don't disturb other guests.

Having meals and laundry available at the hotel helped me while I was there for work. The stay itself was only so-so. I stayed at Pumma while construction was going on next door, and dust kept getting into the bathroom. The double bed felt small: I'm only 1.80, and when I stretched out, my toes stuck past the end. The toilet seemed loose on the floor, the furniture for clothes and belongings was broken, and the tiny TV barely picked up any channels. I asked someone to fix it, but it stayed the same. There were no notices saying the outlets were 220v, and I nearly burned out my electric shaver. I think my room was above the kitchen, because the noise started bothering me when they began preparing breakfast.

The reception staff were kind and attentive, and the bathroom had the hygiene essentials, plus shampoo and conditioner. The hotel is very good, but the TV in my room wasn't a smart TV. That's an important part of the customer experience and adds value to the place too.

The internet service was terrible. I especially wouldn't recommend this hotel if you need to work or study online, particularly at night. Management doesn't care about complaints.
