Pousada Manu

For the price, this was awful. Breakfast was just coffee and a cake, the rooms and furniture were old and in poor condition, and the electric shower didn’t work, so I had to take a cold shower. There was nobody at reception after 18:30. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Great location, clean rooms, and the owner gave me lots of attention. I’ll be back.

We liked the pousada a lot, and Rosane welcomed us warmly. It’s a simple place, but good if you just want somewhere quiet to spend the night. We came as three families, each in a separate room. Our room had five people, with a double bed, a single bed, and an extra mattress. The blankets were thick, the shower was hot, and there was a TV and Wi-Fi, though the internet was so-so. There’s a microwave and minibar in the rooms, which helps if you want to buy food ahead since the pousada says it doesn’t serve breakfast. Rosane still put out a simple but generous table in the morning with hot coffee, pizza, bread, chimia, and margarine. There are nearby places to buy more breakfast items, too. We’d stay here again when we return.

That breakfast photo is NOT real. There’s no breakfast, just a slice of bread and a cup of coffee, nothing else. They don’t even have anything to spread on the bread.
