Dona Sueli welcomed my family warmly when we stayed over New Year's, from 2023 to 2024. I enjoyed the place overall and found it affordable, but there are a few things visitors should know. The mattresses seemed old, were very thin, and made it hard to sleep. Pillows are available, but I'd bring your own. There is no breakfast included. Dona Sueli kindly let us use the kitchen to make our own coffee, though kitchen use isn't included. They also suggest the bakery across the street for breakfast. The minibar fridge is handy, but doesn't cool well if you pack it full. Expect mosquitoes or biting gnats and bring Off. The TV is tiny and only gets regular channels, and the Wi-Fi is slow. There is a barbecue area, which is nice. The playground equipment shown in the photos is gone and destroyed. There's only a plastic slide and a wooden swing now. They don't provide bath towels or bed linen, so bring those from home. That's what I saw during my stay, and Dona Sueli is a lovely person. I hope this helps future visitors.

The people here were excellent, polite, and warm. The place has a lovely, rustic feel, with wooden chalets alongside larger buildings made of masonry, and the facilities were very clean. One practical issue: having just one outlet per room and none in the bathroom didn't feel like enough. For anyone religious, there are churches nearby: one across the street, another on the corner, and a Catholic church on the next block.
