Pousada Tia Cleide

My wife and I were welcomed so warmly. “Vó” Cleide is a wonderful host, as is her daughter. We felt very comfortable with everything: the excellent suite, lovely breakfast, and perfect location close to markets and restaurants. We'll definitely come back next year.

The location is the main reason to stay here, practically right on the sand, and the room was comfortable. The inn is simple, and the food was tasty, home-cooked. Breakfast was just okay, though: the white cheese was a bit green, and the sweet bread with cream was dry and a little sour. The double bed could really be one proper double bed instead of two singles pushed together. The strangest part was the air conditioner switching off while we slept. Tia Cleide somehow didn't know where the breaker panel was to turn it back on. Tia Cleide, that unit doesn't trip its own breaker... it was you. Come on. I recommend the inn for its location, but not for the warmth of the service.

Mãe e Filhas were kind and attentive whenever we asked, and they made us feel at home by giving us plenty of space. The suite was cozy and the air conditioning was excellent, though you don't really need that much if you're going out to enjoy yourself. I recommend the inn. Breakfast wasn't quite what I expected from the photos. It could use more cake, yogurt, and bread, and perhaps a little variety. I know the price they charge may make that difficult, but improve the breakfast and this place could earn five stars for sure.

My husband and I stayed for five days and had a lovely time. Ana and tia Cleide are just wonderful. The kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed, so we cooked there each day. Everything is close by, including a market, and the beach is right there. You step out onto the street and can already see the sea, with plenty to explore nearby. Our neighbors were a family, and we made friends, played some music together, and had a great time. The breakfast was delicious too. We'll definitely be back ❤️
