It’s a quiet, spacious place that’s ideal if you want to relax, and the price is good for what you get. Pedra do Negro is right by the sea, with easy access from both the beach and the streets. Markets, convenience stores, and a pharmacy are nearby. The busy part of Caraíva is by the river, where the restaurants and other businesses are, and the pousada is about 1km away. That didn’t affect our stay: there are excellent restaurants along the way, and the distance helps keep the value for money good. Breakfast was delicious and generous, with a choice of what you wanted each day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. The room, sheets, and towels were clean and smelled fresh; they were changed every two days. I highly recommend it.

Such a beautiful place! Our room was spacious and really cozy, and the sheets and towels smelled wonderful. Breakfast was perfect, and the ladies were lovely. We’ll come back to this pousada again.

You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the sea and birds singing. The room has air conditioning, and it’s an easy walk to the little town center, so it suits anyone after a peaceful stay. Breakfast was outstanding and felt authentic, with different fresh 100% natural juice each day and a choice of tapioca or crepioca.

We had an unforgettable time in Caraíva. The place itself is perfect, and its atmosphere went so well with the warm feel of Pousada Pedra do Negro. Everything about the stay delighted us, from the great accommodation and excellent location to the wonderful breakfast. The ladies made it with so much care, and they were truly lovely. The rooms were also tidied with real attention.
