Hotel Calá & Divino

We love coming here in Brazil. It’s such a peaceful, private place, and the rooms and service are wonderful. The setting is ideal for unwinding and recharging, with friendly, helpful staff around whenever you need them. The food is a real highlight. Neide and Carol do lovely things with Brazilian ingredients. We even had a special dinner on the terrace under the most amazing sky. The views, decor, and location all make an impression. Come experience the energy for yourself.

For peace and quiet, this place is hard to beat. The views are stunning, the beach is perfect, and the waves rolling onto the sand are lovely to hear. Look up at the sky on a clear evening, too. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Meeting the owners was a treat; they made us feel at home. Cala e Divino made our special occasion amazing and unforgettable. Just an incredible place, one that can change how you think about living.

We’d first come across Calá about five years ago, and when we finally planned to explore the south of Bahia, we knew where we wanted to stay. We visited about a month ago for our 10th anniversary and had the best time. It really lives up to its divine name. The hotel is beautiful, the views are spectacular, and our room was amazing. We could hear the waves all night. It’s a wonderful spot to relax, be close to nature, and feel far from everything. What made us feel especially cared for was the staff, who were polite, thoughtful, and did all they could to make our stay great. Mark, the owner, checked that everything was right from start to finish and made us feel at home. Maria Clara was also so helpful and friendly throughout. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Obrigada Calá pelos dias divinos!!! Can’t wait to come back!!
