The peaceful setting above town, with its incredible views, made this a five star stay for us. From the hotel and our room we could see all of Carmo, Serra de Tormenta, and the parasailers overhead. There were lots of birds around, including nesting parrots and tucan. We stayed in room #12. It was spacious, with a separate living room and a large bedroom with a king bed. The air conditioning worked so well we had to turn it off in the middle of the night. The pool and restaurant were well kept, and the pool looked amazing at night. The grounds felt rustic but were carefully maintained. Breakfast was a buffet, with the chef making specific items. The feeling of being away from the city below was lovely. I’d recommend it, 10 out of 10.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was modest. The hotel has a great view over the city and large, spacious rooms, though there weren’t enough outlets near the bed. Housekeeping only replaced the soap and took out the trash. The bed stayed as it was, so I made it myself. The room had no safe, and sometimes nobody was at reception.
