Pousada Bárbara Bela

The location was good and easy to reach on foot, though it isn’t right by the center. The price felt fair for what we got, and we had a really good stay in a quiet, clean, pleasant place. The kitchen chef was thoughtful and helpful, offering fresh scrambled eggs or an omelet every day. I definitely recommend it.

The inn itself is beautiful and pleasant, and all the staff welcomed and treated me very well. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of variety, including lactose-free options. An excellent stay in Tiradentes/MG. I highly recommend it.

The only drawback is that it isn’t very close to the town center. Otherwise, it’s a lovely inn in a quiet spot, with spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, and wonderful service.

We found the inn through an Instagram ad while planning a May holiday in Tiradentes, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise. I booked everything on WhatsApp, and Susana looked after me so well, even sending photos and videos of the room. When we arrived, she welcomed us warmly, and everyone at the inn was friendly and welcoming. Simone made breakfast, and she’s a sweetheart too. There was so much choice, it felt like eating at home and made us want to try a bit of everything. The wonderful jams, cakes, bolinho de chuva, pão de queijo, and different kinds of bread were all delicious. I had to bring a jar of jam home. The location is good, though it’s a bit of a walk from the center. We drove everywhere, so it was very easy for us. I’ll definitely stay there again when I return to Tiradentes.
