Pousada Caminho da Serra

We stayed here for the Festival Gastronômico, and the inn is about 300 meters from the center. Maria Aparecida and Ana Paula run the place, and they gave great service from booking through checkout. Everything was spotless, from the towels, sheets, pillows, and blanket to the bathroom. Breakfast was incredible, a real feast, with homemade granola too.

The hosts were the best part: warm, attentive, and happy to chat, as mineiros are. The inn is near the center, and the room was simply furnished but tidy and well put together. Breakfast was excellent too. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here during Mostra de Cinema 2023 and were warmly welcomed by the owners, d. Cida and Ana Paula. They make breakfast themselves and even ask how you like your eggs, preparing them individually. Since it was rainy, they offered us umbrellas, and they left coffee and biscuits for when we got back late at night. Those thoughtful little touches take effort and aren’t always found at larger inns. The room is spacious and very clean. It’s well worth staying here, and guests should be mindful of the hosts’ generosity.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful, especially appreciated in such a cold place. The inn itself is cozy, everything feels new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Breakfast was excellent, and Ana Paula and her mother were very attentive and welcoming. The location is very good too. We recommend it wholeheartedly and will keep coming back.
