Pousada Cantares

The afternoon tea was such a lovely touch, and breakfast was delicious, varied, and made with care. My best friend and I spent three days at Pousada Cantares, and the whole stay was wonderful. The place is charming, very clean, cozy, and has a beautiful view. You can tell everything is done with care and good taste. The owners, Sérgio and Rosana, were attentive, friendly, and helpful, doing everything they could to make our stay perfect. Their hospitality felt rare and unforgettable. Pousada Cantares is the kind of special place that stays with you and makes you want to return. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Rosana’s kindness and care made the stay special from the very start. This was our first time at Pousada Cantares, and we left enchanted by the welcoming, charming, well-kept place. We highly recommend it for the quality, comfort, and Rosana’s wonderful hospitality. We’ll definitely be back 🤗

The view is beautiful, and the pousada is quiet, clean, and well organized. Breakfast is excellent, better than at many five-star hotels. They also leave coffee, cake, bread, and other snacks out in the afternoon, so there’s something waiting whether you’ve just checked in or come back from an outing.

I was very happy with my stay, and grateful to the hosts and their team. The pool area was really good, and the food was another thing that made the pousada stand out. As a good Mineira, I care about fresh, tasty snacks, and these were just right. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and they also put out coffee in the afternoon. The room was a good size, and being near Rio das Mortes and a reserve gave me a chance to connect with nature. It was a lovely break. I needed to quiet my mind, and I could do that here.
