It's a simple, undecorated chalet, so don't come expecting somewhere spotless or beautifully maintained. Still, it's peaceful and quiet, with nearly everything you need. The person who looks after the place lives in one of the chalets, but keeps to himself and is very polite. The town and a market are nearby by car. Phone service isn't good, and there's no breakfast.

Everything was spotless, and we loved how easy it was to get to town and the attractions, about 20-30 minutes away. There's a stretch of dirt road, but it was easy enough. The view is incredible, the setting is peaceful, and there were so many sweet, adorable dogs around. We'd definitely come back to this little paradise.

We had an unforgettable weekend, with no problems at all. There were three of us in the family chalet, which felt cozy and clean, surrounded by nature and an incredible view.

The pousada was lovely, but the short dirt road to get there is in terrible shape. It was really tricky in a regular car.

The chalet has a decent amount of space, a hammock on the porch, and a good electric shower. I also loved the beautiful view and sunset, with nature all around. The place is very pleasant, even though it's 5 km from Carrancas. The main drawback is that there's almost no kitchen equipment, which you'd expect at a place this far out.
