Gran Parada Hotel

The staff were really good, but our room faced the avenue and we couldn't escape the noise. Horns and cars went on all night, and the air conditioner didn't cool the room either. The place is a bit far away, almost at the exit, and needs some improvements to make the price worthwhile.

It's a simple hotel, but it has what you need when you're on the road, including a good bed and a polite front desk attendant. The room was dark, which was nice, though the traffic noise was a little bothersome since it's right by the highway. I guess that's common for roadside hotels. A very good place overall.

The reception staff were attentive, but the woman in the kitchen brought my rating down. She always had an earbud in and seemed indifferent to us. We only had breakfast once because of that. She didn't answer my good morning or show any interest, even though I tried to speak with her politely before giving up. The Wi-Fi was out on our last day because of an accident on the street. The hotel is far from town, with almost nothing nearby.

The room was dim, and the air conditioner had no way to adjust it. The bathroom mirror was dirty and the shower stall looked like it had never been cleaned. The hotel was well built, but poorly maintained.
