Unity Hotel Campinas

The hotel is in a bad spot, on a deserted street that feels unsafe. The room looked clean at first, but I woke up with ticks on my body. It was torture. I’d never even seen one before, and I panicked and rushed to take another shower. The window doesn’t block sound and doesn’t feel secure. They should take another look at this hotel. It is definitely not three stars.

If you’re hoping to rest, this is the wrong place. It’s awful, disorganized and unbearably noisy. I had to leave my room at night to ask reception to turn down the TV. I was upstairs, and its sound echoed all through the corridor. Staff were chatting and speaking loudly in the hallway too. The garage entrance to the hotel looked like a mess. I’ve attached a photo of it.

The WhatsApp and in-person service were good, but the building and its upkeep have a lot of problems. There’s no soundproofing, so if your room faces the street, you hear noise from outside and inside all the time. The room locks don’t feel secure. The bathroom was very dirty, with dust and grime on the fixtures and counter, as if it hadn’t been washed in a long time. The bedroom floor was dusty too. The sheets were clean, but the pillows smelled really bad. I can’t recommend it.

The location is good and the staff are polite, but this place needs a lot of improvement. Our room wasn’t clean, and the floor was old and dirty. The bathroom had no window, and there was no accessibility at all. It’s okay if you just want to spend one night, but it won’t do if you’re looking for comfort.
