The staff were kind, and breakfast was good. This is a huge, unusual place with enormous lounges and large bedrooms. It’s an 1892 building that has held on to its old style, with antique furniture throughout, and staying there feels like stepping into another era. It’s really nice, but don’t expect a typical hotel. You should give it a try.

Pallace Hotel feels warm and welcoming, and it’s part of Caxambu’s history as a century-old building. It’s close to the natural geothermal and mineral water fountain park. The hotel also serves its guests quality mineral water, the kind you’d have to pay for if you spent that time elsewhere. It’s a good place for a weekend away.

The service and breakfast are both very good. It’s an old hotel cassino that’s being renovated continuously, with lots of vintage furniture and antique appliances.
