There were so many awful things that I hardly know where to start. A possum was in the hallway, climbing the bedroom doors trying to get out, and there was a cockroach in our room. The AC kept switching on and off all night, so the room stayed hot. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, which meant the room wouldn’t get dark. And there was NO WATER. What kind of lodging doesn’t even have water to buy? The kitchen was dirty and the service was terrible. When I tried to leave at night to find water somewhere else, the door was locked and there was no sign of anyone who could open it. In the middle of the night I had to drink a glass of tap water, which made me sick and caused me to vomit. The next day, after I’d been ill, they refused me water again. After seeing how dirty the kitchen was, I was glad I didn’t stay for breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. I will NEVER go back.

The worst service. I booked and paid in advance, but personal reasons meant I couldn’t go that day. I asked to cancel and get a refund, and they simply refused. At no point during booking did they tell me cancellations were non-refundable. Be careful, I can’t recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

The guesthouse is in a great spot, close to the little square and the covered street, and the breakfast is good. The rooms and the guesthouse itself weren’t clean, though, and the parking area is tiny. Once it fills up, you have to leave your car on the street. The place needs more care, organization, and attention.

Everything was organized and well prepared for guests at this welcoming, family-friendly place. The staff deserve congratulations. I simply loved it all.
