Pousada Lisamar

The parking situation left us stuck more than once. It's an open, disorganized lot, and one day a car completely blocked our space when we wanted to go out. We waited 45 minutes without anyone knowing whose car it was, and could only leave because we had another vehicle. When we came back, the same car was still in the way. The inn had no system for tracking owners, spare keys, or managing the parked cars, so guests can simply be trapped. We also heard other guests complain about maintenance issues, including water outages and leaks. The location wasn't a plus either. The inn is beside a busy road with trucks and buses passing throughout the night, and the noise comes right into the room. The surrounding area is basic and not very touristy. In town there are very few leisure activities or restaurants, the beach is crowded, and there's no little center to stroll around. If you're looking for comfort, rest, and tourist facilities, we don't think this is a good choice. We unfortunately can't recommend either the accommodation or the destination. Our stay had a bad start: the shower in our first room didn't work. Even after we reported it, it took more than 24 hours to move us, so we had to take cold showers that whole time. The second room had no sound insulation, and we could hear footsteps, conversations, and cars constantly. There were lots of mosquitoes too. After a power outage, the air conditioner stopped working. Reception said the power was back, but not all the electrical phases had returned, so the air conditioner still wouldn't cool and we couldn't sleep comfortably.

(Pizzeria) I ordered two pizzas at 8 p.m. today, and they never arrived. Total disregard. They replied for a while, then disappeared and I couldn't get in touch anymore. Five children and six adults are still waiting for the pizzas. I don't recommend it.

My clients stayed at this inn, and as a travel agent I found it comfortable and convenient. It's especially handy for Jacarei Port, a strategic spot for catching the ferries to the island. The value for the price is excellent. There aren't many foreign tourists in the area, but it's worth a visit, with beautiful beaches nearby and very friendly staff.

We loved every bit of it and will definitely come back. The inn is cozy, the staff are wonderful, and the hostess was lovely. Breakfast deserves a mention too, everything was fresh and delicious. It's very close to Conceição de Jacareí beach.
