Having a reserved spot in a gated parking lot was a real plus, and the apartment itself is lovely. It’s in a great part of Corumba, close to everything you might need. We had a great stay, thank you!
The friendly staff and fresh, varied breakfast made a strong impression during my one night at the Yes Hotel in Corumbá. The rooms are set up like little apartments, with a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, and everything was spotless. There’s plenty of parking, with no height limit, and check-in was easy. I had an excellent stay, thank you very much!
Olá, Daniela, I want you to understand why we feel so anxious about going to São Paulo. My wife and I have spent almost all our lives in large cities, both in China and elsewhere, so adapting here has been hard. Food, services, and facilities are different, and there are fewer options that suit us than we would find in a bigger city. Our worries about medical care have also grown. We feel uncertain even about the private hospitals, perhaps because this is a small city with fewer resources. Just a few minutes ago, my wife took our daughter to the public hospital for tests because we thought it might be more reliable. When the nurse tried several times to draw blood and couldn't, our daughter cried a lot. My wife was deeply shaken, and it broke my heart to see them both like that. We know you are concerned about us leaving right now. You worry about the trip, the fact that we can't fly at the moment, the long journey, my baby's health and my wife's health, and how difficult it will be to change and feed the baby along the way. I understand why you don't want us to leave suddenly in these circumstances. This isn't a lack of trust or gratitude. We're simply frightened and worried, trying to protect our child as parents. I hope you can understand how we feel. Before anything else, I want to thank you for everything you and the others have done for us. You've supported us in every way you could, both as part of your work and beyond it, and I'm deeply grateful. You, Mary, the social worker, and the colleague who has helped us with transportation have all been very special to us. In a foreign country and a city we didn't know, we have never received so much help, kindness, and understanding. I'll never forget it. I also want to be honest about something that has made us uncomfortable. We were raised to pay for the services we use, and accepting help entirely for free doesn't sit well with us. In our culture, we believe we should work, contribute, and give something in return. Even though we've valued your wonderful help so much, my wife and I have felt a little embarrassed because we don't want to burden anyone. We're not taxpayers in this country, and we know public services take resources and the hard work of local people. We don't want to add any strain for you, the government, or anyone here. It feels difficult to receive so much without being able to give back. So please don't refuse this. When it's possible, I truly want to cover all the costs for you to visit China, including flights, accommodation, and meals. It's not an obligation, just gratitude. We're friends, and you gave us far more than practical help: you gave us care, support, and your heart. I hope that when my daughter grows up, she'll get to meet you in person and thank you too. You really became part of the beginning of her story. Thank you so much for everything, from the bottom of my heart.
I found the bed wonderful, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything needed for a stay. Breakfast was delicious and healthy, with eggs cooked fresh. When I had an issue with my password, the management was very attentive. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return, and I’ll recommend it to anyone who needs a place.
The smooth check-in and check-out with the tag system made things easy, and Júlio was quick and very kind when we arrived exhausted from our trip. It was one of the best places we’ve stayed. Our room was charming and well equipped. The fridge worked perfectly, with ice and cold water, which was a lovely touch on a day over 40 degrees. There was a little clothesline in the shower and a laundry room too, thoughtful details for travelers. Breakfast finished things off nicely. The selection was varied, with quality taking priority over sheer quantity. They made tapiocas, crepiocas, or scrambled eggs fresh to each guest’s preference. The breakfast room had the same charm as the rooms, with classical music playing softly. Definitely a great choice!
