MG Business Hotel & Residence

The bed was good and the air conditioning cooled the room well. Breakfast tasted good too, though the restaurant was slow to open. But there were few options for the price, and the service was poor, so I didn't enjoy it. This hotel was built around the time of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and has since been adapted to stay open. At check-in, the receptionist made a fuss about registering me, refused to take my ID and wanted me to say my details instead. Even after I registered, access was denied. The bathroom was small, the minibar food was expensive, and the TV was basic with no paid channels. There was no bathroom at reception, just small sofas.

Just one thing to keep in mind: the restaurant is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, though there is a Take and Go machine. Otherwise, this was one of the best places in the area, and we'd definitely come back. Great value near Cenarium Rural, with a pool, gym, and a restaurant at night. The facilities were great, the rooms were very clean, and had air conditioning, a stocked minibar, and room service. The breakfast felt like a hotel breakfast, even though this was an AirBnb.

The room smelled strange, though I can't say if they all do. There was a green stain on the shower that looked like mold, and the coffee maker was dirty. It all felt pretty weird.
