The hosts were wonderful, and the service was impeccable. When I felt ill on my first night and missed breakfast, the host noticed and came to check on me. He brought me melon and papaya after learning I was unwell, and by the afternoon I felt completely fine. The setting is a little slice of paradise in the countryside in Foz, about 12km from town and away from the usual paths. It suited me perfectly for a quiet, restful stay. I really can’t recommend it enough. If every hostel were like this, we wouldn’t need hotels.

I booked a dorm bed, but they upgraded me to a private room for free. The place was quiet, with air conditioning, and breakfast was included and delicious. It’s a little outside the town center, but close to the airport and Iguazu Falls. I also arranged a private transfer through the hostel to visit Iguazu Brasil and Argentine Iguazu. Shout out to Arron for being so kind and driving me.

The rooms are nice, and the pool area is kept spotless. It feels more like a resort than a hostel, yet the price is very reasonable. The property sits amid beautiful countryside, and the very courteous owners did everything they could to make my stay enjoyable. You’re outside town, so expect to use Uber and sometimes cook for yourself. But why stay in town? Iguazo Falls are close too.
