Hostel e Pousada Anauê

Great place.

The place was really clean, and our quadruple room had its own bathroom and air conditioning, which made a big difference in the heat. The breakfast, though, was the worst I've had at any of my stays in guesthouses or hotels. The bread seemed a day old, the mortadella was poor quality, and the gelatin and juice were very watered down.

The staff are very friendly, and breakfast is tasty and generous. The pool is lovely, and the place feels secure. But guests can’t come and go on their own because only the owner operates the gate. There’s no drinking water available from dispensers, you can’t bring your own drinks, and the bar isn’t always open. The kitchen is spacious, but guests aren’t allowed to use it.

The rooms were always clean and really good, and breakfast was great too. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff were impeccable, and the owner was always ready to help with whatever was needed.
