There’s a lake on the property, ringed by hydrangeas and lavender. The place is quiet and has a mild climate, close to the Cunha-Paraty road. It’s rustic and has a well-equipped kitchen. We didn’t use the other facilities, so I can’t comment on them. They don’t serve breakfast, but they do provide bed linen.

The place has potential, but it feels very neglected. The hot tub is out of service, the pool isn’t suitable for swimming, and bees have taken over the sauna, so none of those amenities really work. There’s no breakfast, and food is either something you need to bring or get by driving out; everything is very far away. The chalet has a strong musty smell that mixes with the smell of the blankets and pillows. The kitchen is next to the bathroom, and the stove has only two burners.

I know the property being searched for and can confirm that several of the photos here don’t show that place. Anyone interested should check the websites where the property is listed. I stand by my earlier comment: photos that aren’t of the establishment are still posted. Once again, I’d question any information about this property here.
