The location is really good, close to everything, and the hotel isn't expensive. Still, the rooms are quite old, and the bathroom window looks like it hasn't been cleaned in five years. The whole hotel feels old, and you'll see what I mean if you stay there. Breakfast was really poor, not good at all. You get what you pay for.

We booked and prepaid for a room for two, but the front desk still made us pay for an extra guest when they saw two men checking in together. I suspect it was because they heard me speaking English. The guy at the desk was rude and condescending, and wouldn't take responsibility for their mistake. Avoid this hotel and stay elsewhere.

The only thing I'd suggest is more frequent elevator maintenance. Aside from that, it's good value for the price and quality if you're staying in Curitiba. It's in a strategic downtown location, near lots of tourist spots. The staff are nice, the rooms comfortable and quiet, and breakfast has a full range of good options. The gym has plenty of workout choices and a nice view of the city.

Getting into the parking lot is a bit tricky. You have to find a hidden bell to call for service, and parking isn't free, even though competitors offer it as a courtesy. The room is average. If you go for a late lunch or dinner, you might find some items, like desserts, have run out, so try to get there early.
