Laos Hotel

Yesterday I had a terrible experience. I’m a returning customer, but I didn’t know some people were blocked from staying there. The security guard treated my friend horribly and put her in a chokehold while removing her from the hotel. He even called for backup. He shouldn’t be working there. I’d already paid and hadn’t even stayed three hours. The air conditioning was terrible, the internet was awful, and the shower took ages to heat up. I’ll never go back and don’t recommend it.

The place feels just like a motel: non-smart TVs with only porn channels, buttons on the walls, mirrors on the ceiling, and concrete beds. There’s no privacy at all. You can hear everything from the rooms next door, including private conversations and morning snoring. The bathroom entrance door is like a shower stall door, so if you need to use the bathroom privately while sharing the room with someone, you’ll have to put on some music.

The smoke smell is really strong, which is rough if you don't smoke. There’s no parking owned by the hotel, though there is a third-party lot across the street.

The staff were friendly, the place seemed clean, and the shower was great. Still, this is more of a turnover hotel.
