I’m so grateful for my stay at Rabo do Largato. It was one of the most beautiful, magical experiences I’ve had, in Brazil or anywhere else. Every little detail, from the amenities to the service, seemed to be taken care of before I even thought to ask. I haven’t experienced that kind of care at any other place I’ve visited. Pedra Azul-ES makes you feel welcome, and this place is a treat for the senses. The rooms are cozy, the service is spot on, and you get plenty of attention. Don’t miss a late breakfast, and try dinner at the pousada one night. The quality will surprise you.

The gorgeous grounds have a lovely view of Pedra Azul with its lizard, and the whole place has a Provence feel. Each room has its own style, and all the staff are very attentive. Make time for breakfast. Its start and finish depend on when the first and last guests arrive, so it can turn into a proper brunch.
