The location is the best part. I love staying at this pousada. It’s simple, but does what it sets out to do really well. The room is pleasant, the bathroom is a good size, breakfast is good, and the staff are nice.

I enjoyed my two-night stay in this wonderful, peaceful place. The room was comfortable, and I was welcomed warmly. It’s well located, close to everything I was looking for, so I was happy with the whole stay.

The sound carries through the whole place, and there’s almost no privacy. The rooms are separated by extremely thin walls, with no concrete slab above them, just a ceiling lining, so you hear every sound from the adjoining rooms. If a quiet night’s sleep matters to you, this pousada isn’t a good choice for that. It does have some real positives: great staff, an excellent breakfast, clean rooms, a well-kept garden, and a good location. But the noise and lack of privacy were the deciding factors behind my low rating. I don’t plan to return.
