The owner’s welcome was wonderful, and the place is so calm and cozy, with a truly gorgeous view. If you want to get out of the city routine and rest, it’s hard to find a better destination. I recommend it to everyone, but bring mosquito repellent. You’re right in nature, and mosquitoes tend to show up at night.

The view really is unique and beautiful, but some things need attention. They should set a cancellation policy, let guests know that parts of the dirt road are harder to access, and clean the pool and chalet more thoroughly.

Getting to the pousada is difficult, and it was dirty, with cobwebs and a filthy fridge inside. We found a dead lizard in the pool. The welcome was awful too. A terrible investment. When we arrived, we had to pay to stay at another pousada. We weren’t refunded the money we’d spent, and the owner never got back to us.

The view is incredible, but getting there is really complicated, and it gets worse once you reach the pousada. I’ve posted the full route on my Facebook page, @pauloportopasseioseviagensmoto.
