The room was nice, with a hard bed, clean bathroom and great shower, plus a minibar, TV, NET TV, and free Wi-Fi. The building is new and modern, things are well organized, the staff are friendly, breakfast is great, and parking is free. It’s very close to the central praça. Noise was the downside: a nearby bar had a loud band until midnight on Saturday, then dogs barked after midnight in the favela right behind. From 9 a.m. Sunday, loud church music started behind the hotel. Wi-Fi was weak, and NET TV a cabo had no channels, though YouTube worked on the smart TV.

The grounds had a pleasant leisure and relaxation area, plenty of parking, and the room was clean, fresh-smelling, comfortable, and well organized. I came to the pousada at my in-laws’ invitation and found it a lovely place. The service was excellent, with everyone very helpful, and we were greeted at reception by a sweet, very gentle kitten, which we loved. Room items were priced well, and breakfast stood out: generous portions, lots of choices, and quality products. We loved our stay, and I’ll recommend the place to anyone coming here.

Before I’ve even checked out, I wanted to share how great this stay has been. I’d stayed here once before and was already a big fan, so I was glad to come back. The receptionists are sweet, exceptionally polite, and impeccable, and the rooms and cleaning are just as good. Shampoo and soap are provided for bathing. They’ve opened a gym since my last visit, and it’s impeccable too. I’m picky, and this has been a complete experience. Breakfast has fruit, whey, creatine, a chocolate machine, Nutella, and there are cookies and teas in the hall all the time. I’m running out of ways to praise it. Great service is hard to find these days, so I wanted to give credit to the people who planned it and the team who make it happen every day. Thanks, equipe Du Valle. Ten out of ten! And I nearly forgot the sweetest receptionist of them all, o frajola!
